E-commerce · research supply

A storefront where the reference library is the product.

Founder-ownedOwned and operated by this house’s founder. Built in-house, not commissioned.

A commerce build for a category where buyers do not trust marketing copy, and where the reference material behind a listing does more selling than the listing does.

The problem

What it started as.

In a category full of near-identical suppliers making near-identical assertions, another storefront with confident adjectives is invisible. What buyers actually want is the underlying documentation, and most competitors either do not have it or will not publish it.

That turns a commerce problem into an information architecture problem: the catalogue has to be built so that the evidence behind each item is reachable rather than buried.

What this does not show

No revenue, conversion or order figures appear here. That is the client's commercial information, not ours to publish as a marketing claim. What is shown is what a visitor can verify by loading the site. This case study also makes no product, health or efficacy claim of any kind; the build is described, the products are not.
